I had a wonderful stay at Eclectic Africa House in Hout Bay. The property offered stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect retreat. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions and beaches. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch – everything from a well-equipped kitchen to complimentary toiletries and high-speed Wi-Fi. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hout Bay!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning home in Hout Bay for the month of February, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house had been recently and thoughtfully renovated—everything felt fresh, modern, and impeccably maintained.

The home is incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen had all the essentials (and more), making cooking a breeze, though with so many fantastic restaurants just minutes away, we often found ourselves dining out. The location is simply perfect—walking distance to the beach, supermarkets, and an array of great restaurants, yet tucked away enough to provide peace and privacy.

The air conditioning was brand new and worked flawlessly, which was a huge plus during the warm summer days. The comfort of the beds and the quality of the linen were outstanding—we slept so well every night! The WiFi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected when needed.

One of the highlights of the property is the beautiful outdoor space. The garden is well-maintained and lush, providing a serene retreat. Our kids absolutely loved it and made frequent use of the splash pool, which was perfect for keeping them entertained while we relaxed. We also took advantage of the optional cleaning services, and we can’t say enough good things about Crazlin—she was wonderful, kept everything spotless, and made our stay even more enjoyable.

A special thank you to Michelle, the leasing agent, who was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Any small question or request was handled quickly and efficiently, making the entire rental process seamless.

We are beyond grateful for this incredible experience and can’t wait to return! This home truly exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for the perfect Hout Bay getaway, this is the place to stay!

We spent the weekend at this beautiful guesthouse with our toddler and were completely blown away. Every detail had been thought through with such care that it felt less like staying in a guesthouse and more like being welcomed into someone’s (very beautiful, tastefully decorated) home. From the impeccable cleanliness to the thoughtful little touches throughout the space, it was clear that our comfort had been anticipated at every turn. Traveling with a toddler can be tricky, but everything we needed was already there—making the whole experience effortless and relaxing. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish, and deeply comfortable stay.
